Synopsis: Drawing from many famous fairy tales, The Princess and the Mustard Seed, Retold, is a sequel to our original, The Princess and the Mustard Seed. In the sequel, the original princess returns now as a Fairy Godmother looking to find a princess who can move the mountain of mattresses just as she once did. It takes faith the size of a mustard seed to move the thirteen mattresses stacked one upon the other. Many characters attempt to move the mountain thinking treasure lay beyond, but fail for they have not the "seed". Goldilocks appears on the scene and meets her Fairy Godmother who coaches her towards the bed. Along the way she meets the prince and with his help is eventually able to move the mountain while fighting the awful wind of the Big Bad Wolf. Add the three pigs, other fairy tale princesses, little Red Riding Hood and her Granny, and you have the makings of an unusually clever and funny musical that inspires a faith-filled approach to our own happily ever afters! LIvely music and dance!

ROYALTY FEE ($50 per performance): If play is performed for a paid admission audience, a royalty fee must be paid in advance with documentation of shows/dates. A certificate of permission will be provided once order is received.
THE PRINCESS & THE MUSTARD SEED RETOLD DVD ($25 Rental fee): A perusal DVD of a live performance is available for rent for those who would like to see what a complete production can look like. This copy must be returned to S.T.A.G.E. after 30 days.
