Synopsis: Adapted from George McDonald's "The Princess and the Goblin" and set in a whimsical time of Kings, Princesses, and Goblins, The Silver Thread takes us on a journey to discover just exactly how belief in the unseen, and faith in God works a mysterious figure in the attic, a great old grandmother who represents the Holy Spirit as a heavenly Mother. She guides the young princess through a trial by guiding her with a silver thread, only seen and felt by the child. The depiction of good versus evil is evident with the courageous Curdie fighting the mischievous goblins who long to possess both the underworld as well as the lighted world.
THE SILVER THREAD SHOW PACKAGE ($396): includes 33 scripts ( + 2 complimentary scripts). All shipping, handling and PayPal or credit card fees are included in the cost. If you are performing for paid admissions, please be sure to add a $50 royalty fee per performance.
THE SILVER THREAD SCRIPTS ONLY ($12 each): Additional scripts may be ordered if needed, after purchase of the show package. Purchasers are not permitted to make copies of any scripts or S.T.A.G.E. materials.
THE SILVER THREAD MUSIC PACKAGE ($85): The package includes lyrics and sheet music for keyboard along with background cd of music and sound effects. Copies may be made for teaching purposes only.
ROYALTY FEE ($50 per performance): If play is performed for a paid admission audience, a royalty fee must be paid in advance with documentation of shows/dates. A certificate of permission will be provided once order is received.
THE SILVER THREAD DVD ($25 Rental fee): A perusal DVD of a live performance is available for rent for those who would like to see what a complete production can look like. This copy must be returned to S.T.A.G.E. after 30 days.
