Synopsis: This rendition of the story of Fatima is taken from the memoirs of Sr. Lucia, the oldest of the three children whom experienced the apparitions of the Blessed Virgin in 1917 in the small Portuguese village of Fatima. Over the course of a year the children were visited by the Angel of Portugal and later by the Blessed Virgin. They were asked primarily to make sacrifices and to pray the rosary for the conversion of sinners. Witnessed by thousands of people, the miracle of the sun took place on the Blessed Virgin's final visit. This event was recorded in newspapers and history books. Fatima remains a great pilgrimage site to this day and the message of Fatima has devotion throughout the world. The play begins with Sr. Lucia (a Carmelite nun) reflecting on the events that shaped her life and gave her a very special mission from God. Each of her memories is acted out through dialogue, dance and movements, along with portrayals of the people involved. It is a beautiful and moving rendition of a very special story.

ROYALTY FEE ($50 per performance): If play is performed for a paid admission audience, a royalty fee must be paid in advance with documentation of shows/dates. A certificate of permission will be provided once order is received.
FATIMA DVD ($25 Rental fee): A perusal DVD of a live performance is available for rent for those who would like to see what a complete production can look like. This copy must be returned to S.T.A.G.E. after 30 days.
